Research has shown a void in documentaries about African American lesbians, especially elders. We will examine the research history of the LGBT movement, specifically as it relates to African American experiences. Participants will examine the relationship between African American lesbian elders and younger African American lesbian women, engage in intergenerational dialogue, and walk away with tools to educate the public at large.
