Allied Media Conference

"Fixit Friday" is a staple in the New Mexico maker movement, offering a space for community members to come together and repair broken items that might otherwise end up in the garbage. This hands-on workshop addresses the need for economically and environmentally sustainable practices in the maker and digital justice movement. Whether or not participants leave with a fixed object, they will experience a community hacking event that empowers and equips them with new skills for anti-capitalist organizing.
